Senior Photos in Indiana
Senior photos are a huge milestone that is worth capturing on camera. They really can tell a story. They can tell what you did in high school, sports and instruments you played, how much you've grown since grade school…the list goes on and on. They are such an important moment to have forever. However, it can be a little overwhelming when deciding where to take them, what to wear and how to be yourself when posing. But DON’T let it be overwhelming. This should be a stress-free, exciting time for you! I’m here to help out with all the questions! :)
What to Wear?
This could go a lot of different ways if you wanted it to, but the most important part is just be YOU! If you played band and have a band jacket or shirt you want to show off, show it off! If you were in sports and have a jersey or a letterman jacket, that would be something you want to incorporate. You can also go a different way and just wear clothes you think you look great in! A lot of girls love dresses and like to switch out cute outfits. That's okay! Some guys just like blue jeans and a nice shirt…and that’s okay, too. Just try to stay away from loud clothing that could be distracting. We want the picture to be about you, and not anything else!
Where?
There are so many locations you can use for your senior photos in Indiana. Lots of seniors like to take them on their school’s property. This is a good idea if you played football, for example, to capture you on the field one last time. Or, you can get a picture in front of your school’s sign. This is a good way to capture those last moments with you all grown up at your high school. Another idea is a studio shoot. Studio shoots can be very focused on you. You can get some really cool lighting effects in studio shots. However, you can really take these anywhere you want. You can visit a park, a town, your school or even your favorite local restaurant. We really like to use Downtown Franklin for a lot of our Indianapolis area seniors. There are so many great places in Franklin, and the pictures always turn out great!
When?
You can really take senior photos in Indiana whenever you want throughout your senior year. Fall pictures are super pretty because all the colors change. Spring pictures are always good because the weather is getting warmer, and summer is a great time to schedule because school is out. A lot of seniors like to do more than one session. Scheduling multiple senior photo sessions throughout the year gives you a good variety of pictures to choose from.
